In geography students have been studying how countries conflict and cooperate with each other over natural resources such as water. Students have been reading the book, A Long Walk To Water to learn about the water wars in Sudan. Today students completed a water challenge in which they were to carry a 5 gallon bucket of water around the courtyard without spilling it to help understand a little more of what the characters had to go through on their journey for water!
