The Clinton Library hosted an event on March 8th called #ARGIRLSLEAD featuring Representative Carol Dalby and Representative Vivian Flowers. Our 7th Grade Student Council leaders, Chanley Wood, Ashlyn Boudreaux, & Sydney Riddle represented GMS at this event. With March being Women's History Month, the event encouraged women to lead and take part in their school and community and maybe even in the political arena. They also encouraged them to take opportunities for leadership roles and accomplish something great. Overcoming fears and taking that first step into new roles along with building each other up along the way was also discussed. Chanley, Sydney & Ashlyn had the opportunity to meet Representative Carol Dalby & Representative Vivian Flowers. Thank you Ms. Bilderback for empowering our students to be future leaders of the world!
