One of the many ways the Greenbrier Middle School staff is able to provide outstanding educational experiences for our students is by taking the time to connect with them. This week teachers are employing a variety of strategies to learn more about their students. GMS teachers want to know how our students learn, what they enjoy doing and where they see themselves in the future. Ms. Stephenson’s classes worked together to guide a tennis ball through checkpoints, Ms. Osmon took the time to have personal conversations with students as they completed their About Me sheets, and Ms. Campbell’s classes collaborated to simulate the movement of uranium through conduits and into safe boxes using pvc pipe and marbles. By utilizing these activties teachers and students are learning how to work together as a team, and they are having fun doing it!
