Today was a great Constitution Day in 7th grade! In Geography, students had fun guessing which famous person Mrs. Bilderback was based off of clues. Students helped select words for a Constitution Mad Lib. After the story was read the students examined the 1st Amendment. They highlighted unfamiliar words and discussed the meaning of words. When finished students selected which freedom they felt was the most important (religion, speech, press, assemble, or petition) and why. In Arkansas History, students looked at the Bill of Rights and the importance of amending the Constitution.
